Cosima Brezovski
Immersed in music from an early age, Cosima first discovered the violin, before being won over by the piano as well. In 2013, she was named winner of the Cercle Franco-Allemand competition in Freiburg.
With a degree in Musicology from the University of Strasbourg and a Diplôme d’État in piano from the Pôle Musique et Danse in Metz, she obtained her Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicienne and her Diplôme d’État in violin from the Pont Supérieur de Bretagne – Pays de la Loire in 2022, with Marie-Violaine Cadoret.
A passionate orchestral fan, Cosima plays regularly with various ensembles: l’Orchestre Ostinato, with whom she has performed at the Les Étoiles du Classique festival, the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord and the Grand Rex with Vladimir Cosma; l’Exode, with whom she has recorded a disc at the Abbey Road studio in Paris; and the Moris Orkestra, of which she is concertmaster, which led her to supervise the first two academies in Mauritius in April 2023 and 2024, as well as to record the music for Jon Rabaud’s film “The Blue Penny”.
In the course of various one-off projects, she has also played on France 2, in the Star Academy orchestra on TF1, and with Jane Birkin for the Birkin / Gainsbourg – Le Symphonique project.
In 2022, she founded the Serena duo with guitarist Jules Hemmi, an artistic initiative aimed at exploring the repertoire for violin and guitar, rediscovering original pieces and arrangements (Ourkouzounov, Nin, Machado), as well as the great classics (Bartok, Piazzolla…).
In a pop-folk register, she has accompanied singer Silda on piano since early 2023 during her concerts, notably opening for Mika at the Foire de Châlons.
She has also been teaching piano and violin for several years.
