Iana Diakova
Iana Diakova is part of the new generation of opera singers for whom a stage career gracefully combines with intensive activity in the field of Baroque music. As an opera singer, Iana has received numerous awards, including the national Onegin opera prize in Moscow in 2022, for her interpretation of the role of Orpheus in Gluck’s Orpheus and Eurydice. Currently, Iana primarily works for the Nizhny Novgorod Opera and Ballet Theater (Volga region, Russia). At the same time, she regularly progresses in her career as a virtuoso Baroque singer by working on singing techniques and participating in masterclasses with Nathalie Dessay and Julia Lezhneva. She now regularly performs in concerts and records with renowned Baroque ensembles, including La Voce Strumentale (D. Sinkovsky), Alta Capella (I. Velikanov), Pratum integrum (S. Filchenko), “Les Moscovites” (Ph. Nodel) and others.
