The third and last child of a sibling family growing up in the Beaujolais region, Zacchary was brought up on the sounds of rock, including the Rolling Stones, the Who and Pink Floyd. Fascinated by music from an early age, he enrolled in a CHAM  program at the Villefranche sur Saône conservatory at the age of 7.

He followed a full curriculum of percussion, piano and music theory. Parallel to this classical training, Zacchary discovered jazz and drums, and continued his studies at the CRR de Lyon, where he obtained two DEMs, classical and jazz, in 2016 and 2018. After several years of hard work and reflection, he decided to devote himself to jazz drums and entered the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris in 2019.
