Noemi Gasparini
Violinist and singer Noemi Gasparini opens new paths at the crossroads of traditional Central American music and the virtuosity of Bach, Stravinsky, Kreisler and Berio.
A musician as well active on the classical, world music and contemporary music scenes, winner of the 1st prize at the Académie Ravel 2022, a passionate chamber musician, she was noticed as a young talent at the Festival Pablo Casals 2021 and 2022, as well as at the Festival Classique à Villars 2023 in Switzerland, and as a soloist under the direction of Jean-Jacques Kantorow with the Orchestre Colonne in Paris. She won the Audience Award at the Schiermonnikoog Chamber Music Festival 2022 (Holland).
She appeared as soloist with the Orchestre du Pays Basque, conducted by Jean-François Heisser, for the opening concert of their 2023/2024 season.
Noemi obtained a Master’s degree in classical violin with honours from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP) in the class of Jean-Marc Phillips, and a Bachelor’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music in New York, where she worked with Patinka Kopec. She was also guided by Pinchas Zukerman during several master classes.
Noemi a été membre de Flor de Toloache, groupe féminin de mariachi primé aux Grammy Awards, ainsi que de Jarana Beat, un groupe mexicain aux influences afro-amérindiennes basé à New York. She organizes concerts where classical music, Latin American music and her own songs meet, in collaboration with a wide variety of musicians, such as recently the Venezuelan violinist Alexis Cardenas and his group Recoveco. She is currently working on her first album, which will bring together these different aspects of her musical universe.
She is a laureate of the Fondation de France, the Vincent Meyer Foundation, the Mécénat Musical Société Générale, the Safran Foundation, Adami and the Patrick Petit Foundation. She plays a Sergio Peresson violin.
Noemi is Italian-Mexican, was born and lives in Paris. She lived in New York for eight years and also studied at the Junior Royal Academy in London in her teens.
