Maud Texier

Oboe

Maud began playing the oboe in Châteauroux, where she obtained her DEM unanimously in 2006, with the congratulations of the jury, and began performing in recital, in orchestra and as a soloist.

At the same time, she won 2nd prize in the UFAM competition, in the ‘superior’ category.

Meanwhile, she continued her studies at the CRR de Cergy-Pontoise and took part in masterclasses with prestigious oboists such as Jean-Louis Capezzali, Maurice Bourgue, David Walter and Hans-Jörg Schellenberger.

That same year, she passed the entrance exam for the Geneva Conservatoire in the classes of Maurice Bourgue and Roland Perrenoud.

There she had the opportunity to play in various orchestras, including the Nouvel Orchestre de Genève, the Ensemble Orchestral de la Cité de Genève, the Tempo Primo ensemble in the Centre region, etc. She also taught oboe in several music schools in the Pays de Gex.

In 2011, she moved to Paris to train with the Ostinato orchestra, from which she obtained a diploma in orchestral music from the CFMO in 2013.

As well as teaching oboe and early music, she plays regularly with various orchestras, including the Orchestre National de France, the Orchestre de la Brigade des Sapeurs Pompiers de Paris, Ecce Cantus and Via Musica.
