Cheyu Chang

Born in Taiwan, he started playing the piano and studying music at the age of 4. He
began playing the double bass at the age of 12. He graduated from the Conservatoire National
Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon (CNSMDL) in 2018 in the class of Cédric
CARLIER and François MONTMAYEUR, then from the Haute École de Musique de Genève
in 2020 in the class of Alberto BOCINI.
Passionate about the orchestra profession, as a guest musician, he plays regularly with the
regularly with the Orchestre de Picardie, the Orchestre Philarmonique de
the National Orchestra of Lyon, the Orchestra of the Opera of Lyon and the
the Pays de Savoie Orchestra. Since 2021, he also teaches at the music school
of Thônes (Haute-Savoie).
